Sad to say that I am unable to disclose the names and faces of today’s wedding – you see, they are too recognizable and we had to jump through some crazy hoops just to get SOME photos to post. Trust me, I met with their attorneys today to get approval!!
Thank you to Heritage Trails Vineyard for being such amazing hosts! We always love visiting you!
Our bride’s stunning dress was designed by Anne Barge and was purchased at The White Dress by the Shore
Her accent colors were Tiffany Blue
And the hot shoes by Calvin Klein
And the boots by Frye
Which, of course, prompted me for a quick pre-ceremony boudoir!!
I love when the “cutting cake” is a simple small cake! This one had a giant fresh peony on top! I love it!
And who could resist Heritage Trail’s s’mores? YUM!!

I was so excited this morning when Erik came to visit! You see, I photographed his Mommy & Daddy’s wedding back in 2010!
I love seeing my brides turn into awesome Mommies! Look at this look on Brooke’s face <3
I have to say that this next shot is my all time favorite baby picture EVER!

How can you not love this little bundle? He was born on May 20…I have a special affinity for babies born on that date…after all, I gave birth to one! 
Yes, Dante is a birthday twin with my oldest daughter!!
After having so much pink in my life and in my recent shoots, it was a wonderful change to blue!!
Dante always had his eye on me, not sure if he trusted what I was up to…but we got some sweet pics!
And of course, my English degree kicked in and I couldn’t resist….

On Sunday , Meghan and I got to witness the marriage of Audrey and Chris! What a gorgeous day to be at the top of Wickham Park!The stunning view, the happy couple and fun family and friends made this day truly one to remember! Thanks Audrey and Chris for letting us share in your beautiful day!

I’m still grinning ear to ear over the amazing wedding this past weekend! Check out Allison & Jay’s wedding teasers here.
The gorgeous site location for the bridal prep, ceremony, formals, and the reception is our fave The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate in Middletown, CT.
The scrumptious food was prepared and presented by Aqua Turf Catering (signature cocktails too!)
This beautiful cake (and yummy too!) was created by Kim’s Cottage Confections to match Allison & Jay’s wine theme.
How can you have a wine theme without corks EVERYWHERE? All of the corks are from California vineyards (where Allison and Jay were engaged) and Italian vineyards (they were shipped directly from the vineyards). Love it! Jay and his dad made the monogram.

You all know I’m a sucker for everything Greek – does it get better than a Demetrios gown? SWOON!!

The show stopper of the day was the amazing horse and carriage ride from Allegra Farms! Amazing!!

Personal Project Week 16 – Silly Shadows

I love photographing shadows – I think they can actually be pretty expressive! Do you remember those old jewelry commercials where the people were shadows and they wore the bling? I used to obsess over those commercials!
At Sunday’s wedding, I was trying to work with the shadows so I could photograph the first dance. While we were waiting on the patio for the announcements, Jess and I hit our silliness and started photographing our shadows!
So this week is not only shadows, it’s pure silliness!! Can you figure out what’s going on in the shadow? How can I take a photo left handed? Or is that even me? What’s going on? Would love to hear what you think!
